Village of Sussex- The Plan Commission reviewed two proposals for the construction of a total of more than 200 new homes in the vilage within the next three to four years.
Brookfield developer Arthur Sawall described his plans for the development of 146 homes to be built by Ryan Homes Inc. along Maple Avenue south of Maple Grove Lane.
The homes will range in size from 2,200 square feet to 5,000 square feet with prices varying from approximately $300,000 to $600,000. Sawall anticpates the development will be built in three phases over three to four years.
Representatives of developer Mike Kaerek presented their plans for 57 residential home sites to be developed on approximately 40 acres of property located north of Good Hope Road and west of Woodside Road.
Both proposals have a series of regulatory review and hearings before the commission determines final approval of the projects.
